Renovation of a mixed-use development in Newark, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; educational facility; educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.

*Additional information, including drawings, available from architect.* The project consists of adding an exterior wall to enclose an existing service shed, replacing all drinking fountains and all light fixtures with LED, performing HVAC renovations to the residence hall, constructing a new soccer field and a new 200-meter running track, relocating an existing basketball court, and converting existing site lighting to LED lamps. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is a prerequisite for bidding. Sealed bids must be addressed as directed, with the outer envelope clearly marked as specified. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Bidders will not be subject to discrimination, and minority, disadvantaged, women-owned, and veteran-owned business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids.
