Site work for a civil project in Chatham, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Chatham WPCP - Outdoor Sludge Storage Tank, Transfer Pump Station, and Transfer Pipeline project. The scope of work includes an above grade sludge storage tank (approximately 85 cubic meters), a transfer pump station consisting of three VFD controlled pumps (factory assembled pump skid package will not be allowed), a 75 mm diameter HDPE transfer pipeline (approximately 750 meters in length), an associated outdoor control panel, and required mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. The transfer pipeline will be installed using the directional drill method. The existing discharge piping from the raw sludge pumps of both Plant 1 and Plant 2 will be tapped and connected to the new raw sludge piping, which will direct the sludge flow to the new sludge storage tank. TIMELINE: An RFP for engineering services has been issued by the Owner. Further update may be confirmed upon award.
