Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marysville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The project consists of pavement planning and re-surfacing of approximately 8,500 L.F. of roadway, including curb ramp, curb, and sidewalk replacement. The work generally includes pavement planning and re-surfacing with two inches of asphalt concrete surface course and installation of pavement markings. Bidders must register on the website and create a Digital ID, which may take up to seven business days to process. Bidders must provide proof of qualifications to perform the work as described in the Instructions to Bidders and complete the Best Bidder Information Form. Compliance with all statutory requirements is required. Bids must include payment of wages at prevailing wage rates according to the Ohio Revised Code and must comply with related provisions. Each bidder must submit a Bid Guaranty: either a bond for 100% of the bid amount or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit for at least 10% of the bid amount, following the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders and per relevant Ohio Revised Code sections. Bid security in bond form should be issued by a surety company licensed in Ohio or via electronic bid bond options on bidexpress.com.
