Renovation of a multi-residential development in Brazil, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Bid work shall consist of replacing electrical panels for common areas and all apartments and minor repairs of associated work at Cooper Towers & Jackson Gardens apartments. All work shall be performed per the plans and specifications. The Housing Authority is looking for lump sum bids to be submitted from certified, licensed, insured, and bonded commercial electrical contractors. All bids shall be executed on forms provided in the specifications or approved equal provided by the bidder. Each bid must include a non-collusion affidavit, a fully enclosed HUD 5369-A form, and a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid amount. Section 3 Performance and all other forms as outlined in the specifications must accompany all bids. Bidders must submit written evidence that they have solicited quotations from qualified Section 3 subcontractors for all portions of work not proposed to be completed with their own forces. The contractor awarded the project will provide an acceptable Performance and Payment bond equal to 100% of the contracted price. All bidders shall comply with HUD Section 3 Clause of regulation 24 C.F.R. part 135. Each bidder must attain the bid documents from the architect directly.
