Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of installation of a new owner-furnished rotor in Product Cooler #1 (PC1) and associated work in the basement of the Dewatering and Drying Facility at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility. The product coolers receive dried Milorganite at a maximum temperature of 180°F and cool it to 90°F as it passes between the shell and rotor of the coolers. The shell and rotor are supplied with a mixture of water and propylene glycol at 45°F by the process chilled water system. Bids must be submitted online via Quest Construction Data Network after registering to view and download the contract documents. For questions regarding the proposed work, bidders are directed to contact the Owner's Procurement Specialist. Question Deadline 04/10/2026 All questions related to this proposed contract, pre-bid presentation, and site tour must be directed in writing to Millie Neidhardt, eneidhardt@mmsd.com, no later than 7 days before the bid opening date.
