Major items of work for this project include selective exterior envelope repairs to an existing building, including removal, repair, replacement, and reinstallation of exterior materials as indicated and specified. Bidders must include a $10,000 allowance for concealed deterioration in their lump sum base bid amount. Bids will be awarded based on the lump sum base bid as specified. Electronic bid submittals are required; hard copy submittals are not acceptable and will not be considered. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond by a surety company registered in Iowa, or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, uploaded in the requested attachments area.
