NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 20101, San Bernardino County, on behalf of the Project and Facilities Management Department ("County"), invites qualified contractors to complete and submit a Prequalification Questionnaire and other required documents for the purpose of prequalifying, based on the factors identified in the Questionnaire, to submit bids for Best Value Job Order Contracts for Healthcare General Building (BHGBJOC1). This prequalification process is mandatory for all licensed contractors who intend to submit bids for contracts under the Best Value Job Order Contracting (JOC) for Healthcare General Building project delivery method to be issued by San Bernardino County for a period of one (1) year with two (2) options to extend for one (1) additional year each, following issuance of the Notice of Prequalification. Prequalified contractors will be invited to bid on Best Value JOCs for Healthcare General Building (BHGBJOC1) contracts for a term of one-year with a maximum contact value not to exceed $3,000,000 each, adjusted annually to reflect the percentage change in the California Consumer Price Index, with two (2) one-year options to extend in the amount of $3,000,000 for each year extension. Bids received from any contractors not approved as prequalified will not be considered and will be listed as non-responsive. Contractors who submit a complete prequalification package will be notified by mail of their qualification status following completion of the County's evaluation of the information submitted by the contractor, unless additional information is required by the County.
