The project is expected to be awarded 2 weeks from now** Scope of Services includes but is not limited to: furnishing all material, labor, and equipment to replace existing water mains per the plans and specifications. Install approximately 4,528 linear feet of 8" diameter cement-mortar-lined ductile iron pipe. The replacement of watermains is located on 24th St, 25th St, and 26th St between Davidson Avenue and Miramonte Avenue, and Davidson Avenue from Highland Avenue to 27th St along with other associated work as shown in the project plans and specifications for Specification No. 1869. The project site is located within the Northwesterly portion of the City of San Bernardino. Each Bidder shall show completion of three (3) similar projects of similar size and complexity within the last five (5) years for a similar size and type of agency. In addition, each Bidder shall show competence in working with ductile iron, cast iron, and steel pipeline over fifty (50) years old, and have completed at least fifteen thousand feet of Domestic Water pipeline in City Streets. Any bidder wishing to submit a cashier's check or certified check in lieu of a bid bond must submit such by the bid closing date and time in an envelope clearly labeled with the Project title, bid number, Bidder's Name, and Address to the Purchasing Office at 397 Chandler Place, San Bernardino, California 92408. Submission of the performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the total bid amount will be required from the vendor receiving award. The bidder is solely responsible for the on-time submission of their electronic bid. Only bids with a time-stamped ebid confirmation from the Bid Management System will be considered. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. The bidder is responsible for proper utilization of the bid management system, ensuring computer capability to upload required documents, and maintaining stable internet service. No relief will be given for late or improperly submitted bids.
