Site work for a civil project in Merritt, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Contract includes the upgrade and realignment of Nicola River Road and Michel Road (approx. 1.2km) to improve the road drainage and provide a paved surface for the community. This includes an upgrade to the intersection with Highway 5A and the construction of an underground storm network with a storm outfall. As part of the road upgrades, ancillary works including driveway adjustments, and retaining walls will be required. The Contract is generally for the following work: Re-aligning and upgrading of Nicola River Road & Michel Road. Installation of storm water collection piping and outfall. Construction of MSE retaining walls. Re-alignment of driveways to account for new design. Upgrade of the intersection of Highway 5A and Nicola River Road. Paving of the upgraded roadways.
