Site work and paving for a road / highway in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project is awarded to Glasgow, Inc. in the amount of $483,440.50 Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Resurfacing Contract, which includes the paving of various township roads. The work consists of the following approximate quantities: 41,165 square yards of full-width milling to a depth of 1.5 inches; delivery and placement of 3,805 tons of 9.5mm Superpave PG64-22S .3 to <30 Million ESALS (no substitutions allowed) to a compacted depth of 1.5 inches; delivery and placement of 190 tons of 9.5mm Superpave PG64-22S .3 to <30 Million ESALS (no substitutions allowed) leveling course as needed; and delivery and placement of 190 tons of 19.5mm Superpave PG64-22S .3 to <30 Million ESALs (no substitutions allowed) base course, compacted at a minimum depth of 2.5 inches as needed. All materials must comply with current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation specifications. Bids must be submitted on township forms, accompanied by a 10% bid guarantee, and comply with the Prevailing Wage Act 442. Payment and performance bonds and required insurance are necessary upon contract acceptance. The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities in the proposals.
