The work includes replacing major ventilation, lighting, conduits, and control systems, adding new sensors and a fire alarm, modifying structural elements, installing new panels and concrete pads, and completing various site improvements such as fencing and tree removal. Proponents intending to submit a Proposal shall contact the Procurement Officer to request the Non-Disclosure Agreement. Upon receipt of the signed NDA, access to the designated solicitation documents will be granted. The site visit will be held at 5211 Duffus Street, Halifax, NS. If interested in participating in this site visit, please confirm by March 24th, 2026. Please confirm attendance via Bid & Tender to the Procurement Officer. If there are no Proponents registered, the site visit will be cancelled. Questions may be asked, and description of the Work may be discussed during this meeting, however no minutes of the meeting will be distributed and modifications made by way of addenda to tendering requirements or the Contract Documents shall be binding. Note that taking photos in the facility will not be allowed, pictures can be provided upon request, after signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
