Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work for the Base Bid project consists of multiple ADA ramps at Norwalk City Hall. The locations of the Base Bid ADA ramps are based on the drawings at locations one through seven. This scope includes removing and replacing existing sidewalk panels, removing and replacing existing concrete, and regrading sidewalks, concrete curb, and topsoil. The alternates include the south parking lots ADA ramps (locations A through D) and/or a raised crosswalk on City Hall Drive. Deadline to submit Questions Mar 19th 2026, 11:00 AM PDT Online Portal All questions pertaining to this bid shall be directed to Chris McCauley, Purchasing Officer, at cmccauley@norwalkct.gov. Evaluation of Bids: 1.) The lowest responsible bidder for the sum of one of the following. a. The City will evaluate the lowest responsible bidder for each combination of the Base Bid and alternates, including all potential configurations and the total award option. Based on the available funding, The City will determine which option will be awarded after evaluating the bid results. Said determination by the City would be final. b. The final evaluation of the cost shall be based upon available funding by the City of Norwalk. Said determination by the City would be final. 2.) History of completing Projects on schedule. 3.) The City's available funding. The Work Proposed in the Base Bid Herein Must be Completed by 45 days after notice to proceed.
