The City of Ocala Water Resources Department is seeking bids for the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) #2 Rotary Press. The department operates two wastewater treatment plants that produce biosolids through the activated sludge process. WRF #2 currently uses a Hiller centrifuge to produce biosolids cake of 19% total solids, while WRF #3 uses a belt filter press. The solicitation is categorized under dewatering pumps, dewatering equipment, and dewatering service. Questions due date has been extended until Monday, May 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM. All work must be coordinated with City Project Manager, Jeff Greve, WRF #2 Lead Operator, Telephone 352-572-0486 or 352-401-6298, E-mail: JGreve@Ocalafl.gov. 1. Bid Bond: Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. Bid bond will be uploaded in the section of this listing labeled "Bid Bond." The original document will be maintained by the Bidder unless requested to produce by the City. 2. Performance and Payment Bond: The successful Bidder must submit a Performance and Payment bond for the total bid amount. 3. Maintenance and Guarantee Bond: The successful Bidder will also be required to furnish a Maintenance and Guarantee Bond for the total project value, prior to final payment, for a period of three (3) years for labor and three (3) years for materials from the date of final completion.
