Renovation of a military facility in Fort Carson, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and all other non-personal services required to furnish and install new Absolyte Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) battery cells, modular steel tray housings, positive and negative terminate plates, and flame-retardant transparent module covers with standoffs for one communication node. All battery cells must be the same brand and equal in amp-hours as the existing system and must be new, not refurbished or renewed. Work includes reconnecting the existing alarm/control cable harness to each battery cell, reinstalling the Ni-Cad Neutra Mat as specified, and disposing of the removed batteries in accordance with Colorado and EPA requirements. The contractor shall provide labor for full installation, ensure compatibility with existing systems, and deliver all components required by the Performance Work Statement.
