The objective is to provide monthly elevator maintenance and as-needed repair for elevators located at various Wastewater Enterprise facilities and at the Southeast Community Centers. Work may also include modernization of elevators. This work is to be performed in San Francisco, California. Sealed bids must be turned in via a provided ShareFile link. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, and both contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, except for certain bid purposes. The City may award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. A Class “C-11” California Contractors License is required to bid. All listed subcontractors must possess appropriate active licenses for the work they will perform. Bidders are required to pass the SFPUC Safety Prequalification prior to their bid submission being considered complete. There is no Local Business Enterprise (LBE) Subcontracting Participation Requirement for this contract. Bidders must comply with the Equal Benefits Provisions of Article 131 of the City’s Labor and Employment Code. The project is also subject to the San Francisco Local Hiring Policy for Construction. Bidders are encouraged to attend both a remote pre-bid conference and an optional site inspection.
