The scope of work includes providing professional environmental services statewide. The selected Consultant shall perform a wide range of environmental studies, regulatory permitting, and technical advice on proposed modifications to existing correctional facilities. Responsibilities include preparing environmental documents for undertakings such as repair/modification of existing facilities, new or expanded facilities, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure construction or repair. The Consultant will assist in securing permit compliance from regulatory agencies. The Consultant must ensure all documentation meets state and federal statutory and regulatory requirements, provide related support documentation, assist with electrified fence mitigation monitoring and reporting plans, and prepare project approval documentation including public notices. Other responsibilities include site review and selection, due diligence for expansion/acquisition sites, and supporting the overall environmental review process.
