Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Wellsburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project involves the construction of the Brooke County Public Service District (PSD) Shell. The work consists of building a new PSD office, which will be a wood frame structure with a full basement and attic space. Exterior materials specified include ICF foundation walls, vinyl siding, adhered stone veneer, vinyl windows, metal gutters and downspouts, and a standing seam metal roof. The project covers the building shell only. The work must be substantially completed within 200 calendar days from the contract commencement date and ready for final payment within 230 days. Liquidated damages are set at $250 per day for delays. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the designated website and are urged to register as plan holders to receive updates, notifications, and addenda.
