Demolition, site work and addition to a fire / police facility in Wellsburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 5% of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satis-factory 100% Perfor-mance Bond and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of the Payment contract price. Bidders shall reference the Project Manual for all required Bidding Docu-ments to be submitted as a part of a complete bid. Each Bidder must ensure that no employees and ap-plicants for employment are discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex, or national ori-gin. Bids may not be with-drawn for a period of 60 days without the consent of the Owner. Contractors must be registered in the State of West Virginia. Contractors shall comply with all applicable Nation-Community al, State, and Local codes. Franklin Volunteer Fire Department reserves the right to ac-cept or reject any and all bids, negotiate with the lowest qualified bidder, to waive any informalities, reject an informal bid, and to make selections from the bids that are solely in their best interest.
