Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for the construction of a new facility for Reagan Mass Transit District, Oregon, Illinois. Bids will be received for a general contract covering all trades. Bid security of 5 percent of the bid amount is required with each bid. Bidders must state the number of calendar days to complete the work on the bid form. The awarded bidder shall begin work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and complete the work within the contract time. Bids will only be accepted from suitably qualified and experienced bidders who must provide a Dun and Bradstreet DUNS number on the bid form and, as applicable, a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Bidders must be properly licensed and able to obtain required insurance and bonds. Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and acceptable insurance are required for the successful bidder. DBE companies are not required for this contract. The work is not subject to liquidated damages. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed bids to the specified address; attending a mandatory prebid conference; submitting any post-conference questions in writing by the stipulated deadline; and arranging for access to the bid documents by contacting the architect. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
