The Peace-Liard Business Area of British Columbia Timber Sales is proposing a Planting Implementation contract to implement and oversee planting quality and silviculture surveys for the 2026 summer tree planting season. The proposed contract is planned for approximately 974,760 summer trees to be planted, with Forest Investment Program (FIP) trees totaling approximately 32,000. Net Area to be Reforested for this contract is approximately 613 hectares. The Implementation Contractor will be responsible for completing all quality pay plots, regeneration plots, tree cache and reefer inspections, silviculture unit layout, and assisting BC Timber Sales staff with Environmental Management System inspections during planting operations. There are approximately 574 pay plots and 150 regeneration plots for this contract.
