South Canaan Township Supervisors are accepting bids for 30,000 +/- gallons of liquid calcium chloride for dust palliative, hauled and applied to various roads within the municipality; a minimum of 2,800 gallons to be applied upon request. Materials must meet Penn Dot specifications. Mark on the outside of the envelope “Liquid Calcium Proposal.” Proposals must be on forms furnished by the municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Successful bidder must provide the municipality with IRS form W-9, certificate of insurance, and payment and performance bonds in the amount of 50% of the contract within twenty (20) days of the award. Failure to do so will be considered a breach of contract and constitute grounds to cancel the contract.
