Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project includes but is not limited to the following approximate quantities of work: 6 Cobra Head Street Light Concrete Bases, Poles, Arms and Luminaires, 2,320 linear feet of Conduit Rigid Nonmetallic Schedule 40 2-Inch, 130 linear feet of Conduit Rigid Nonmetallic Schedule 80 2-Inch, 5,670 linear feet of Electrical Wire 6, 8, 12 AWG, and 9 24"x42" Non-conductive Pull Boxes. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the gross bid, payable to the Fond du Lac County Highway Commission, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted as the successful bid, the successful bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and performance bond within 15 days after notice of award of contract. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of said bids without the consent of the Highway Commissioner. The Fond du Lac County Highway Commission may reject any or all bids on any basis and without disclosure of any reason. The County also reserves the right to waive any formalities or informalities in bidding, and to select the bid that, in its opinion, will best serve the interests of the County. Question Deadline 03/23/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
