As of May 13, 2026 project was awarded to Sommers Construction Co., Inc., awarded amount is $187,727.50 The project includes but is not limited to the following approximate quantities of work: 5,205 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter, 15,050 SF Concrete Sidewalk & Driveways, 100 SF Curb Ramp Detectable Warning Fields, 14 EA Drilled Tie Bars. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the gross bid, payable to the Fond du Lac County Highway Commission, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted as the successful bid such successful bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and performance bond within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of contract. No bid shall be withdrawn, for a period of 60 days after the opening of said bids, without the consent of the Highway Commissioner. The Fond du Lac County Highway Commission may reject any or all bids on any basis and without disclosure of any reason. The failure to make a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action against the County. The County also reserves the right to waive any formalities or informalities in bidding, and to select the bid that, in its opinion, will best serve the interests of the County. Fond du Lac County Highway Commission is requesting bids to complete concrete construction work on CTH VV (Project 17422/600423) and CTH K (Project 600425) in the City of Fond du Lac. The Bid is on a unit-cost basis, with all work to be completed by October 2, 2026. This contract shall include the work of the project as described below. The OWNER will provide construction staking for reference and concrete construction needs. Question Deadline 03/23/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda through online to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
