The Contractor must provide personnel, supervision, equipment, supplies, certifications, transportation, and resources to conduct random legionella water testing at specified building locations at the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center (BVAMC) campus. All water samples must be collected and analyzed by the Contractor in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and directives. Personnel collecting legionella water samples must be trained in proper protocols, and evidence of training certifications or competencies must be provided annually to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Each legionella water sample must be labeled with the building and room number where collected, and if collected from a room with multiple outlets, the specific outlet description must be sufficient to identify it. Corridor samples must be described by their proximity to building and room numbers. Sampling days are to be scheduled with the COR at the start of each quarter, with all work occurring during normal business hours. Results, including positive legionella serotype identification, must be submitted by the last week of the quarter.
