Project: Oxford Community Schools, ASD Center Project - Bid Package 2. Labor and Material and Performance Bond: Successful contractors must obtain Performance and Payment Bonds for any Bid Category exceeding $50,000 and may be requested to obtain such bonds for categories below $50,000. The bonds must be in the amount equal to the contract amount and for the protection of Oxford Community Schools and Frank Rewold & Sons, Inc., executed by a surety company authorized in Michigan with an AM Best Rating of B+ or better. All bonds must be dual obligee bonds. Bid Bond: 5% bid security is required. Bid bonds are preferred, but certified or cashier's checks are acceptable for bids under $50,000. Disclosure Statements: Each bid proposal must include a sworn, notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or Superintendent of Oxford Community Schools, along with a signed Iran Economic Sanctions Compliance Certificate. Bids without these documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be submitted on provided forms, in a sealed envelope, delivered or mailed to the indicated address before the specified date and time. This project is not exempt from state sales or use tax, and all incorporated materials and supplies are subject to tax. Prevailing wage rates are not required.
