Renovation of a conference / convention center in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
This project includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove the existing escalators and install new replacement units in accordance with the Contract Documents. It is understood that the design of replacement escalators will vary by manufacturer and may not match existing units throughout the facility. All replacement escalators must utilize a single-span truss design with no intermediate support. This is a mandatory base specification requirement. Bids proposing intermediate support systems will be disqualified as non-compliant. Work shall be executed in two phases: Bank One (B3 and B4) shall be completely replaced and made fully operational before commencing Work on Bank Two (B5 and B6). Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. BVH JOB # - 2561-22394-00 Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted to procurement@massconvention.com in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 1, 2026.
