Project This project includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove the existing escalators and install new replacement units in accordance with the Contract Documents. It is understood that the design of replacement escalators will vary by manufacturer and may not match existing units throughout the facility. All replacement escalators must utilize a single-span truss design with no intermediate support. This is a mandatory base specification requirement. Bids proposing intermediate support systems will be disqualified as non-compliant. Work shall be executed in two phases: Bank One (B3 and B4) shall be completely replaced and made fully operational before commencing Work on Bank Two (B5 and B6).
