FILE: 07-24-026_G-002X FILE: 07-24-026_E-200 The work consists of asphalt and concrete removal and paving, curb and gutter removal and replacement, minor storm drain improvements, installation of a new potable water line, removal and replacement of sidewalks, driveway approaches, pedestrian ramps, and installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Main Street and Lincoln Avenue. The work also includes installation of an irrigation system, trees, tree grates, pedestrian lighting, and underground electrical. Bids must cover all necessary work for a complete installation in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Bidders must provide signed bids with evidence of authority to sign and include bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash equal to 5% of the bid amount. Bid security is forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into contract as specified. The owner will consider all bids, investigate the apparent low bidder's qualifications, and may request additional information. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, waive nonmaterial irregularities, and accept the proposal most advantageous to the city's interests.
