Sealed Bids are invited for the construction of Project No. 385-GR, Natural Gas Facilities Replacement, Section 1: Area 1: Lewisburg. The scope of work includes: installation of 3,685 L.F. of 4" PE Pipe; 7,790 L.F. of 2" PE Pipe; 400 L.F. of 1" PE Pipe; 1,980 L.F. of 1/2" CTS PE Service Line; 120 L.F. of 4" Steel Casing Bored; 3 each of 4" PE Valves; 14 each of 2" PE Valves; 1 each of 4" PE to 4" PE Connections; 1 each of 4" PE to 2" PE Connections; 2 each of 2" PE to 2" PE Connections; 23 service replacements; and other miscellaneous necessary items. All Bidders are urged to visit the site, attend a Pre-Bid Conference, and familiarize themselves with site conditions. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material's Bond, each for 100 percent of the Contract, as well as a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5 percent of the total bid. Bidders must meet the Gas Board of the City of Fultondale's approved contractor requirements, be licensed in the State of Alabama, and include license details on the outside of the bid envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and technicalities. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the opening.
