Service includes annual maintenance for 10-pound ABC dry chemical and 1.25-pound Halon 1211 aircraft extinguishers, internal six-year inspections for 10-pound ABC dry chemical extinguishers, and hydrostatic testing for 10-pound ABC dry chemical extinguishers, K-Class wet chemical extinguishers, and stored water pressure extinguishers. Additional work includes six-year service for 50-pound dry chemical extinguishers, six-year maintenance for 20- to 30-pound wheeled ABC dry chemical units, and annual inspection of 150-pound wheeled Halon 1211 extinguishers. The requirement covers all labor, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform these inspection, testing, and maintenance services in accordance with applicable standards. Contract award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base year and four option years, and responses will support market research to determine the availability of qualified Small Business concerns across various socio-economic categories. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
