The scope of work involves the construction of a new headquarter facility, approximately 20,000 square feet, for the Tennessee Highway Patrol District 2 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. Bids are invited for a general contract for this project. Bid documents may be examined at the Designer's office and specified plan rooms. Bid documents can be obtained electronically or in hard copy from the Designer. Electronic documents do not require a deposit, but hard copies require a $1,000 certified or cashier's check made payable to the State of Tennessee. Bidders submitting bids equal to or greater than $25,000 must be licensed in accordance with state law. A statement regarding public contract crime status and minority business status must be included on the Bid Form. A Drug Free Workplace Affidavit and a five percent bid security are required. The project is subject to a non-discrimination policy. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and reject bids.
