Sealed bids are requested for the Indoor Air Quality Project at RSU 16, covering Middle High School, Poland Community School, and Elm Street School. Interested companies must obtain the bidding documents by email and be listed on the project's Plan Holders List to be eligible to submit a bid proposal. No phone inquiries are allowed. Prospective bidders may submit questions and/or requests for clarification of the proposal document to the project engineer, Mr. Steven P. Furgeson, P.E., Principal of AERAS, PLLC, at: sfurgeson@aeraspllc.com. The deadline for submitting questions and requests for clarifications is 5:00 pm EST, March 23, 2026 SCOPE OF WORK A. This statement shall apply to all sections of these specifications: All of the provisions of the CONTRACT AGREEMENT shall be a part of these specifications. The General Contractor and each Subcontractor shall fully inform of these documents before proceeding with any work. B. All fees, permits, and licenses necessary for the prosecution of the work shall be secured and paid for by the Contractor. C. The General Contractor shall be responsible for their as well as his Subcontractors to prevent damage in all areas of finished work. Any damaged areas shall be repaired and refinished in a new condition before leaving the project. D. The work consists of all supervision, labor, equipment, and material to complete the project in strict accordance with these specifications and drawings. E. The General Contractor shall be responsible for the following temporary facilities: All necessary temporary buildings such as office, toilets, shops, and storage facilities. F. Temporary Toilet Facilities a. Toilet facilities shall be provided by the General Contractor. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to keep a clean sanitary condition at all times. G. Temporary Light and Power a. Temporary power is available for incidental electrical use (not for heating or welding) by the Contractor at no cost.
