The City of Burlington Electric Department requests fixed-cost proposals for the replacement of ionic resin in station demineralizers. The proposal must include the replacement resin for Demineralizer Anion Train A and Demineralizer Cation Train A, with the resin meeting or exceeding the provided specifications. Proposals must clearly indicate compliance or list any exceptions to the specifications. The proposal should name a responsible project manager. Work will only be accepted after certification by both the contractor and the Department representative that it is complete and meets specifications. The contractor must protect against loss or damage and is responsible for indemnifying the purchaser for any claims or damages. Safety protocols, including compliance with the Accident Prevention Manual and applicable regulations, must be followed. Proposals should include a summary, technical approach, a fixed cost for the outlined work, organizational experience and references, and any additional pertinent information, along with proof of insurance and a livable wage certificate. No site walkthrough will be provided for this project. Only proposals that are fully responsive to all instructions and format requirements will be accepted for consideration.
