The Purpose of This Project is to Level and Overlay Approximately 9.327 Miles of Highway 278 in Howard County. This Project Consists of Removal and Disposal of Guardrail, Earthwork, Trenching and Shoulder Preparation, Aggregate Base Course, Achm Binder and Surface Courses, Cold Milling of Asphalt Pavement, Achm Patching of Existing Roadway, Maintenance of Traffic, Guardrail, Erosion Control, Rumble Stripes, Pavement Marking, and Misc. Items. Length: 9.327 Miles in Length. Question Deadline 04/01/2026 - Questions pertaining to projects during the advertisement period should be addressed to the Program Management Division at pmd@ardot.gov. The deadline to submit a question is the Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date. A question submitted after the close of business on the Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date may not receive a response. These contracts are subject to normal prequalification, licensing and bonding requirements, applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other Federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) complies with all civil rights provisions of federal statutes and related authorities that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.
