The Sawyer County Highway Department is requesting bids for Asphaltic Concrete Pavement. Interested contractors or vendors may obtain specifications and bid forms at the Sawyer County Highway Department. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on March 26, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read publicly. All bids must be sealed and must indicate the bid item on the outside of the envelope. Facsimile bids will not be accepted. Bids for Asphaltic Concrete Pavement must include a separate bid for Local Road Improvement Projects (LRIP). Specific LRIP projects include Sawyer County CTH F (STH 48-Little Sissabagama Road) and Sawyer County CTH DD (CTH F-CTH D Washburn CTH Line). No asphalt will be used on a specific LRIP project until the SMA is approved by WisDOT. Sawyer County reserves the right to accept any or all bids or the bid deemed most advantageous and to waive any irregularities in the process.
