The Benavides Independent School District ("District") invites responses to this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) from qualified vendors and/or teams ("Respondent") interested in providing a turnkey scope of work per documents provided for the Benavides Playground Shade Project on properties owned by the District. This request is intended to address both Respondent qualifications and a preliminary methodology as to how the project would be executed. Base Scope: Labor and Material to Install a 100'x100'x12' Metal Hip Roof Shade Structure over playground Alternate1: Labor and Material to Install a 40'x80'x12' Metal Hip Roof Shade Structure over playground Alternate 2: Labor and Material to Install a 40'x80'x12' Fabric Shade Structure of playground Pricing must be turnkey and include all items listed below plus anything else required to complete the project: - Delegated Design as required (Including Concrete Mix Design) - Engineering Calculations/stamp - Post and Base design/install as required - Subsurface investigation to confirm existing subgrade is adequate - Final Grading as required - Site Surveying/Measurements - Protection of surrounding areas at no additional cost - Temporary fencing to project students from work areas - Include Cooperative Purchasing Number - Permit Cost/Inspections/Certifications - Labor/Material/Equipment as needed - Must Comply with all applicable ASTM and Local Codes for Playgrounds - Maintain ADA Compliance - General Conditions/Overhead - Payment and Performance Bond - Insurance - Standard Manufacture Warranty in Addition to 1 Year Workmanship Warranty Schedule: June 1st, 2026 and Completion by August 1st, 2026 Budget: Approximately $500,000 Question Deadline 03/20/2026 at 1:00 PM CT Any questions concerning proposals should be directed to the Program Manager, Gallagher Construction Services, Attn: Kristin Howard.
