Demolition, site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,500-square-foot fire / police facility.
Expansion of the McKenzie Clearwater Fire Protection Corporation - Clearwater Bay Fire Hall, including the construction of a replacement Fire Hall building of approximately 6,500 ft2 (604 m2) to the east of the existing fire hall, which will remain as a storage building. The scope includes replacement of the existing well, capping and abandoning the original, installation of a new well and a water treatment system in accordance with MECP treatment guidelines, and expansion or replacement of the existing septic field to accommodate additional washrooms as per the Ontario Building Code. Removal of the existing garage shed to the east of the fire hall is required to provide space for the new building. A secured fenced area for storage near the fire hall is also required for winter boat storage, large training props, and a Seacan for additional cold storage. Proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format with separate, clearly labeled documents for the technical and fee sections.
