Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The work is divided into four parts: City Funded Work, Transit Improvements, Water and Waste Work, and Manitoba Hydro Funded Work. City Funded Work includes concrete reconstruction of Bradford Street from Wellington Avenue to Saskatchewan Avenue, asphalt reconstruction on various sections of Goulding Street, Westview Park Road, Minto Street and Downing Street Alley, and Portage Avenue and Picardy Place Alley, asphalt resurfacing on Westview Park Road, thin bituminous overlay on Goulding Street, and alley rehabilitation in designated locations. Winnipeg Transit Funded Work involves transit improvements at specific intersections and roads including Erin Street, Sherwin Road, Notre Dame Avenue, and Portage Avenue. Water and Waste Funded Work includes manhole and sewer repairs on Goulding Street. Manitoba Hydro Funded Work consists of street lighting installation and associated work on Goulding Street. The major components of the work include removal and replacement of pavement, excavation, installation of catch basins and subdrains, curb and sidewalk construction, grading and sodding boulevards, manhole and sewer repairs, street lighting installation, and related improvements. Work under Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4 is contingent on receiving approval and funding from Winnipeg Transit, Water and Waste Department, and Manitoba Hydro. Bids must be submitted online.
