Site work for a mixed-use development in North Mankato, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes conversion of the existing wet well dry well lift station to a submersible-type lift station, including modification and coating of the existing wet well, installation of a concrete top slab and hatch, submersible pumps, base elbows and guide rails, and other equipment. The work also includes installation of a valve manhole, gate valves and check valves, control system and electrical, and abandoning the existing dry well. Temporary bypass pumping is required. The project involves installation of 4,800 linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch forcemain by trenchless methods and 100 linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch forcemain by open cut. Additional work includes lift station site work such as concrete driveway apron, bituminous pavement, concrete sidewalk, removal and replacement of bituminous street parking lot pavement and curb and gutter, turf restoration and erosion control, and traffic control.
