The Town of Farragut is seeking to retain the services of professional property acquisition firms for roadway improvements at Virtue Road/Boyd Station Road, Farragut, Knox County. The project scope includes grading, paving, signing, and intersection improvements, requiring the acquisition of Right of Way, permanent drainage easements, slope easements, and construction easements on about 23 tracts with no relocations. One firm will be selected to be responsible for Right of Way Acquisitions, including procuring various ROW service contracts. All firms must be on the TDOT approved list of acquisition/relocation consultants, and no involved party may have any interest in the land being acquired. Required roles include: Appraiser, Negotiator (Buyer), Closing Agent, and Relocation Agent, each with specified restrictions. Tasks include written notification to property owners, coordination with the Town’s Appraiser Reviewer, and compliance with TDOT Right of Way Manual and TDOT Local Government Guidelines. Invoicing and payment will adhere to TDOT’s established guidelines. Interested firms must submit a qualifications-based proposal by the stated due date.
