This project is located at Harry Reid International Airport and includes demolition of the existing Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) building and construction of a new ARFF facility along with miscellaneous site improvements, including new concrete aprons and asphalt parking areas, new concrete pads to support fire department provided training props, miscellaneous site grading and drainage, site utilities, new site and building mounted lighting, on site above ground fueling with supporting infrastructure, and new data duct banks, conduit, fiber and associated trenching/boring. This is a federally assisted contract and is subject to 49 CFR Part 26, Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs. Applicable NAICS codes and additional federal requirements apply, including Buy American Preference, Foreign Trade Restriction, Davis Bacon, Affirmative Action, Governmentwide Debarment and Suspension, and Governmentwide Requirements for Drug-free Workplace. All labor must be paid at least the minimum wage rates set by the U.S. Secretary of Labor and the State of Nevada. Each bidder must provide all required information and furnish a bid guarantee equivalent to the required percentage of the bid price, as well as performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract price if awarded.
