Renovation of an educational facility in LeRoy, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,507-square-foot educational facility.
The Owner invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for Roof Replacement Roane-Jackson Technical Center Building 'B'. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bidders must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and licensed to perform work in West Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor informalities and procedures, and to withhold final award of contract for 30 days after opening bids. The successful bidder must deliver a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in a penal sum equal to at least the contract sum, within 10 days after award and before signing the contract. Instructions for obtaining Bidding Documents and requirements for bid submission are specified, including mandatory attendance at the pre-bid conference for prime contract bidders.
