Renovation of an educational facility in Everett, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of two phases of mechanical upgrades at Evergreen Middle School. Phase I involves removing and replacing all existing HVAC and domestic water heating equipment unless noted otherwise under Phase II. This includes all exhaust fans, gas-fired indoor air handling units, fan powered terminal VAV boxes, split-system AC units, domestic water heaters, circulation pumps, expansion tanks, roof hoods, motorized dampers, and the sawdust collector. Additionally, all existing energy management controls will be upgraded to current district and industry standards, covering all mechanical and plumbing equipment not upgraded under the previous boiler upgrade project. Phase II involves removing and replacing six packaged rooftop units in their entirety, with the new energy management system installed in Phase I being connected to these new units. All general contractor bidders are required to attend one of two mandatory pre-bid meetings. Contractors must sign the attendance sheet, and late arrivals will not be allowed to sign in. Bid documents are available for a deposit, fully refundable upon return of complete, unmarked, and unmutilated documents within ten days after the bid opening. General contractors may obtain up to three sets of documents, and mechanical and electrical contractors may obtain one set each. Question Deadline 03/23/2026
