Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City of Leduc intends to select a qualified contractor to assess the current system and design, supply, install, commission, and integrate a modern lighting control solution that meets current industry standards (“the Services”). The objective of this project is to replace the existing lighting control system with a modern, scalable, and energy-efficient solution that enhances operational control, improves user experience, and supports the long-term sustainability of the recreational facility. The successful proponent will be responsible for the complete delivery of the project, including the design, supply, installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of the new lighting control system, as well as the provision of all labour, materials, equipment, and technical expertise required to achieve the project objectives. The Successful Proponent will: Retrofit nine (9) existing Douglas Low-Voltage Relay Cabinets (LVRCs) using Relay Panel Modules (RPMs) Reuse existing enclosures and high-voltage relays where feasible to reduce costs. Replace existing low-voltage switches and sensors with devices compatible with the Digital Lighting Management (DLM) system. Upgrade the existing Encelium (Gen 2) wireless system to ensure compatibility with the new head-end system, or replace wireless nodes with wired equivalents where required. Establish a building-wide lighting control network to connect all managers and panels to a central server running Polaris software (or an approved equivalent) to enable facility-wide monitoring and control. Develop a custom graphical user interface (GUI) to display building floor plans, lighting zone status, and provide authorized users with system override capabilities.
