Sealed Bids are requested for the new construction of Cooling Towers and Pumps at Otter Creek and Davis Park Elementary Schools. Work shall be performed under one Unified Contract. All construction is to be in full accord with the Drawings and Specifications provided. Bids must be submitted on forms supplied in the Project Manual and executed in accordance with Indiana Board of Accounts Form No. 96 with a compliant financial statement, a Supplemental Bid Form, and a satisfactory Bid Bond or certified check for not less than five percent (5%) of the total price, payable to Vigo County School Corporation. The bid security is to be delivered in a sealed envelope indicating the project and Bidder’s details. Procurement Documents can be obtained for a refundable deposit, with a limit on the number of sets per bidder and subbidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Materials Payment Bond, effective for twelve (12) months from acceptance of the work. The contract will prohibit discriminatory employment practices and require an affidavit of compliance from the Contractor with each billing. Substitutions of items or materials equal in quality are allowed if approved in writing prior to the Bid opening and identified with the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid and to waive informalities or errors in bidding.
