Bowen Engineering Corporation is soliciting quotations from subcontractors, including small, minority, and women-owned businesses (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises - DBEs) for the Indiana American Water, Terre Haute Water Treatment Facility Project. The project includes the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building to house GAC feed pumps, cartridge filters, GAC vessels, offices, restroom, and electrical room. Site work involves proper disposal of contaminated soil and stone pier subgrade enhancements due to soil conditions. Modifications to the existing Filter Building include relocation of an existing pump, installation of a new GAC backwash pump, and electrical work. Yard piping modifications comprise installation of a new raw water main and GAC backwash waste pipe to the existing backwash holding tank. The GAC pressure vessel system will be pre-purchased by the Owner, and the contractor is responsible for coordinating delivery, handling, storage, installation, and placement of GAC media. Coordination and disposal of water associated with GAC media delivery and startup are required. Subcontracting work includes roofing removal/replacement, coatings, electrical, controls, mechanical, and process vessels installation related to construction of a PFAS water treatment system. Materials and supply work includes coatings, concrete, pipe, fittings, and valves. Subcontractors must affirm compliance with all bid documents and Indiana Finance Authority SRF Loan Program funding requirements. Bid forms and DBE certifications must be submitted as specified.
