The project provides for roadway improvements on Robin Creek Rd (approximately 2,691 linear feet), Blackberry Ln (approximately 3,264 linear feet), Dabney Bottom Rd (approximately 19,362 linear feet), and Stage Coach Rd, Saddle Surrey Rd, and Mt Zion Rd (approximately 8,996 linear feet). The work includes mobilization; subgrade improvements including pulverizing, regrading, shaping, and compacting; stabilization of existing subgrade; addition of flexible base; construction of asphaltic paving; driveway and intersection turnout improvements; culvert replacement; ditch re-grading; shoulder reconstruction; erosion and sediment controls; and traffic control and signage. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Bidders must obtain bid/contract documents from www.CivcastUSA.com by registering on the website. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond of 5 percent of the bid via acceptable surety, certified check, bank draft payable to San Jacinto County, Texas, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds. The project is financed through the General Land Office under the HUD Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation program and is subject to federal and state laws and regulations, including payment of federally determined prevailing wage rates and non-discrimination in employment. San Jacinto County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any bid in whole or in part, award individual bid packages separately or in any combination, and waive minor informalities or irregularities. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification investigation.
