CONTRACT NO. 26-R01 2026 ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM: The scope of work includes approximately 20,000 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, Superpave WMA leveling course, binder course and wearing course, base repair, inlet replacements, curb replacements, thermoplastic linestriping, traffic control; alternates for additional resurfacing and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. CONTRACT NO. 25-S3 2026 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS: The scope of work generally includes sanitary sewer repairs including manhole to manhole CIPP lining of approximately 2,500 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 170 linear feet of in-trench spot repairs, cleaning and television inspection and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough to guarantee the bidder’s entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (for contracts over $25,000), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or all bids may be rejected within ninety (90) days of the bid opening; the Borough may delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days while waiting for required approvals.
