Lewis County is seeking a proposal for the removal of all blacktop from the Courthouse parking lot, regrading, repaving, and all other relevant tasks. Scope of Work Remove existing pavement, all spoils to be hauled off site. Remove curb, grass area, and tree at corner of building by overhead door, Grade for 12" of 1 1/2" crushed stone subbase for parking area. (Area A) Install 16" curb from building corner to end of heated sidewalk. (Area A) Lower both manholes in grass area to match new pavement. (Area B) Lower manhole cover in front of overhead door to match grades. (Area B) Remove grass area from back door to overhead door, replace subbase with 12" of 1 1/2" crushed stone and add pavement. (Area C) Raise drainage grate on West Side of Parking lot to match grades. (Area D) Grade for new blacktop at southeast property corner at power pole. (Area E) Patch Existing concrete retaining wall. (Area F) Parge and salt guard entire retaining wall. (Area F) Regrade subbase to direct water to drainage inlets. Coordinate with Ber National for gate magnetic loops in pavement. (Area G) New pavement to be consist of 3" of Binder after compaction and 1 1/2" Top after compaction. Parking lot striping layout to be same as existing, former grass areas can be hash striped for no parking area.
