Site work for a water / sewer project in Grosse Tete, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested from general contractors for the construction of the Corey Road Water Line for the Village of Rosedale. The successful Bidder is allowed ninety (90) calendar days to complete the project from the commencement date stated in the Agreement or a Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500 for each consecutive calendar day the work is not substantially complete, and $500 for each consecutive calendar day beginning the 46th day after Substantial Completion for incomplete punch list work. Bidders must complete and deliver required affidavits and documents within ten (10) calendar days after the bid opening. Bidders must meet the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law. The Village of Rosedale reserves the right to award the project on whatever basis is in the Owner's interest and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
